Ms. Cecilia Chen provides legal services throughout southern California concentrated in the areas of corporate transactional matters, estate planning, business re-organization and bankruptcy.
Cecilia received her law degree from American University in Washington DC and completed her undergraduate studies at Boston University majoring in business administration with a concentration in finance. Ms. Chen is licensed to practice law in both California and Virginia, and has extensive experience in representing clients ranging from small and emerging entrepreneurial businesses to large multinational corporations.
Cecilia’s areas of expertise include business entity formation, review and draft employment agreements and contracts related to purchase and sale of businesses, mergers and acquisition, private equity and venture capital financing, as well as dissolution and bankruptcy for both individuals and businesses. She is dedicated to making her clients’ objectives her own and drawing on her extensive experience to deliver strategic business perspectives as well as efficient legal approaches.
In addition to serving her clients, Cecilia is also dedicated in serving her community where she regularly volunteers at the Home Clinic San Diego advising distressed homeowners on how to best eliminate or restructure their debts and keep their home.
