About Me
Cecilia Chen received her Juris Doctorate from American University Washington College of Law in Washington, DC and her undergraduate degree from Boston University with concentration in finance.
During law school, Cecilia served as a writer and staff editor for the American University International Law Review and participated at the Tax Clinic where she represented underprivileged clients in tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service.
Cecilia began her career practicing law with a prestigious law firm in northern Virginia, working primarily with small and start-up businesses as well as real estate developer clients. She subsequently relocated to San Diego and joined another law firm in downtown San Diego working with business clients ranging from small to Fortune 500 large corporations, as well as individuals and families on estate planning matters. Cecilia then opened her own practice to devote her career in serving clients in the areas of business and estate planning, with a focus on risk minimization and strategic planning.
